Best Futures Prop Firms 2026
Ten firms, hundreds of plan-and-size combinations, and rulebooks that change more often than the prices. This roundup compares every futures prop firm we track — Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, My Funded Futures, Lucid Trading, Alpha Futures, Take Profit Trader, TradeDay, FXIFY and FundedNext — on the things that actually decide whether you get paid: drawdown mode, daily loss limits, consistency rules, payout cadence, and the real cost of getting funded once reset and activation fees are counted.
There is no single best firm — there's a best firm for how you trade. Apex is the cheapest way in and lets you copy trades across multiple accounts; Topstep has been funding traders since 2012 and allows payout requests daily; Take Profit Trader is the pick if a daily loss limit keeps ending your sessions early, because it removed the rule entirely; and Tradeify, Alpha Futures and Lucid all sell instant-funding routes if you'd rather pay more upfront and skip the evaluation. The rankings below explain who each firm suits — and where its rulebook will bite.

How we rank (methodology)
We rank firms on published, checkable data — no star ratings, no user reviews, nothing we can't verify. For every plan and account size we record the current and list price, the drawdown mode (end-of-day trailing, intraday trailing, or static), the daily loss limit, consistency rule, minimum trading days, reset and activation fees, profit split, and payout frequency, minimums and caps — then weigh the realistic cost of reaching a first payout rather than the sticker price of the eval. Prices reflect the discount codes shown on each listing and are re-checked regularly, and any figure we haven't yet independently confirmed is flagged as unverified on the firm's page.
